You would think Arteta would have some grey hair by now.

Cant dispute they are one of the all time great clubs but just turning into...us really.

Much enjoyment had.

Was it Karen Brady who said we should be following the Arsenal model sometime ago in an interview?

Their reserve keeper, Run Ars Son, was a bit shit last night

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
The Arteta situation is almost like some business study as to why things go wrong.
Clearly if he goes then Edu and his team go. As they are the ones that sold the board / Kronke on a manager with zero experience. They've also sacked a manager with compensation who is now doing very well in LaLiga and has about 3 europa trophies as well.

So they all look like clowns if Arteta doesnt work out. Hence the doubling down and backing him. Plus the fact that Kia is all in there syphoning off money for his players (Willian / Luiz). So there's a lot of money being made and at stake if Edu and team lose their jobs.

Be interesting to see how it plays out. A top 10 finish after spending in Jan will see Arteta still in the job I think. But I just think their fans will be livid. He really should be gone by now but there are way too many "interests" at the club that are keeping him in the job.

They were dire last night,City barely got into 3rd gear.

They wont go down but this will be their most mediocre season (in the league) for a generation.

It would be one of the most outstanding things to ever happen in football if these cunts went down.

Sadly it won't happen. In fact it won't even be close.

I would love it if this were to happen. Seeing all those gooners ranting at the moment is fucking great. The same cunts who hounded Wenger out. Be careful what you wish for you fucking deluded cunts. Fucking cheering every goal that goes in against you. Annoys me we pissed all over them and lost but hoping we cane them at the LS.

They’re going through a similar thing Man U did/are; struggling to appoint a manager who can replicate the success of their previous long standing manager. Man U are still struggling as will arsenal. Will be interesting to see if pochettino gets linked when the arteta on verge of the sack rumours start to circulate in the press.

Arteta is annoying. Was bigged up by the media after a couple of early wins. Bang average..and in the sack according to my mates mrs who was shagging him before he started dying his hair.

I have no beef with Arsenal, but would love to see them drop, just for sheer melt down by that lot on Arsenal TV.

Arsenal fans have overtaken Tottenham in my opinion you only have to look at arsenal tv, a mixture of black and white bruv types and a middle class group of media types

I’m surprised BFS didn’t hold out for the Arsenal rescue gig.

Shame we aren’t playing them any time soon, by the time it Comes around they’ll probably be on the up again,

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
I've never really detected any real malice between the Arsenal and us.

Sure, we love to take the piss out of them and they like to patronise us but our shared loathing of Spurs mean we always find some common ground.

I wish we had signed Tierney though...I knew he was class and that was years ago.

He’s already got two more cups for them that we’ve not had in 40 years innit?

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
I was wondering if an Arsenal relegation thread would appear.
Obviously it isn't going to happen, not even close, but it would be great to finish above them, for the first time since 1986.

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
Don't know many Arsenal fans, for some reason and have no skin in the game of them going down, unlike some other London teams.

I think they can attract a better manager and be obviously much better if they fire this one. So would not mind if they picked up a few wins to keep them limping along, except against us of course.

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
They were right to shift Wenger and wrong to leave it so long. He put the car in reverse long before leaving the job and it has continued on that course ever since.

It has gone from being the best run club in the Premier league, to one of the worst.

Maybe if they get Rodgers in it might improve but they need time and a complete overhaul of the squad.

Chelsea and Man City had started taking their best players from them, Adebayor, Nasri, Ashley Cole, Sagna, Clichy.

Money talks.

Ferguson had a previous winning history at Aberdeen to fall back on
Arteta has nothing. Except for the day he held Peps wallet while the Man City players gave him the bumps

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
Personally, I think Wenger outstayed his welcome by a few years, and should have handed over while he had a top four team still. They finished 6th when he left, and 5th the season before.
